There are many forms of neuropathy, generally called peripheral neuropathy, together with a variety of causes. I suffer from neuropathy in both my feet and hands. In my situation it is a side effect of powerful medications used in chemotherapy. I have been an auto enthusiast most of my lifetime and enjoy driving my exclusive vehicles as well as driving everyday. Shortly following being diagnosed with neuropathy, I began to drive using gloves. I need them always as my hands are afflicted by air conditioning in the balmy weather and not enough warmth to my hands in the winter. The cold months driving issue was quickly solved by simply using a heavy set of winter gloves. Nonetheless, I had a tough time with the rest of the year. I tried deerskin driving gloves. They were a great remedy. They fit fine, look nice and are quite comfortable. These gloves significantly helped me with all the problems related to the sensitivity in my hands. The deerskin gloves are not lined and feel like an additional skin, helping enhance my sense of feel on the wheel and other controls. Because they were unlined they were good for driving on a mild day when I did not want heat or air conditioning. I found them to be the perfect answer for driving with the air conditioning working. I also learned that adding a leather steering wheel cover to my steering wheel was an incredible help with this problem. Though your car or truck has a leather steering wheel, I think you would find the additional leather layer a significant help with improving both the relaxation and sense of driving. I would recommend the EuroPerf or perforated genuine leather steering wheel covers because they're a little softer and have a feel of higher command. These adjustments have permitted me to truly enjoy driving all over again.
